Dr. Candace Hughes
Has over 18 years of combined educational management experience in higher and secondary education. As an active leader and advocate of education and the Arts, Dr. Hughes’ focus of study is higher and secondary education, the development of the whole child and the creation of evidence-based practices that address the active engagement and social needs of children from womb to work.
Dr. Hughes holds a Doctorate and Masters in Educational Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. Dr. Hughes has served in secondary education and as an adjunct for Maricopa Community Colleges and Grand Canyon University. As founder and CEO of KDKE Education Solution, LLC, Dr. Hughes assists families, educational institutions and businesses to provide educational development, support, and training. Dr. Hughes’ specialty is developing educational programming that supports after-school and summer arts activities.
Dr. Hughes serves on various community boards and volunteers in the community. Professional and social affiliation include being a member of the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, Arizona Education Association, the National Education Association, and American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance, Association for Career and Technical Education, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.
